Specialties
Throughout my career, I have held a variety of roles across both the private and public sectors, including work with county entities. Upon graduating college, I began working with individuals living with developmental disabilities and chronic mental illness, overseeing a community-based employment program. Later, I served as a Program Director at an Intermediate Care Facility, where I supported participants in living as independently as possible within a community setting that offered built-in support systems. While working within the county system, I gained valuable experience with funding sources and assessments, particularly through the CIP/COP Waiver programs. For the past 25 years, I have dedicated my career to supporting older adults, as well as individuals with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and chronic mental illness—particularly within nursing home and assisted living environments. One of my most rewarding experiences was leading cultural transformation initiatives in a nursing home setting, focusing on person-directed living and combating the stigma often associated with long-term care. Most recently, I served as Executive Director at an Assisted Living Community, where I completed the required administrative course and further enhanced my knowledge of the services and supports critical to the aging population. I remain committed to growing professionally, particularly in the area of self-directed community services.

More about me
I have a passion to assist people in living their life as they choose by providing support, advocacy and resources. In my free time I love spending time with my family and dogs. I love decorating/interior design and thus I’m a fan of home make-over shows. Biking, camping and traveling are other ways I fill my time as well as just exploring the Madison area to find new adventures.
