I have over ten years of experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities. Although the beginning of my career was focused more on community involvement and outreach, that all changed when my first nephew was born with cerebral palsy. Since then, I have shifted my focus to become an advocate for those seeking to have an independent life similar to the peers around them. I have experience supporting individuals not only in their homes, but out in the community as well. My most recent experience was working at United Cerebral Palsy where I worked closely with children, teens, and child care programs/camps to help them have a more inclusive experience.

Although I was born and raised in Wisconsin, I have worked all over the country (Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, Iowa, California) before moving to Madison. Out of all the places I’ve lived, Madison is definitely one my favorites (except for the winters). In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, trivia games, watching musicals, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen.
