While in college, I started providing part-time residential support for adults with developmental disabilities and quickly realized that I loved my job and the people I supported. I had found my place. With the exception of a short career break when my kids were young, I never left the field. I have nearly 30 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, with experience providing direct support, case management, service facilitation and program coordination. Over the course of my career, I have worked with frail elders, people (both adults and children) with developmental and physical disabilities, and people with mental health support needs. I have worked direct care positions, management positions and administrative positions. I have supported people in their homes, in the community, and at outpatient behavioral health clinics. I strive to be compassionate, patient, honest and enthusiastic in my partnerships with clients.

More about me
I am a Wisconsin native who has traveled around and lived in a few different places, before settling back in my home state. I enjoy time with my family and friends, books, gardening, art making, sunshine, music, hiking, trees and water (especially Lake Michigan). I believe everyone has their own unique story to tell, and am ready to listen.
