I have experience working with a variety of individuals to help them meet their goals and needs. I have a background in psychosocial education and I have experience teaching youth the social and emotional skills necessary in setting and reaching their goals. During my time at the National Alliance on Mental Illness I was able to assist people with developmental and physical disabilities, mental health needs, and the elderly in reaching their weekly/monthly goals. My experiences have inspired me to work in advocacy and be part of support systems that assist individuals in increasing their independence. I believe everyone has a right to the support they need to live a happy and healthy life. If there is something that can be done to help even one person reach that, I will do everything I can to make it happen.

I grew up on the Southside of Chicago but moved to Janesville, WI after college in Ames, IA. I spend my free time baking a sweet treat, cooking, reading, and playing games with friends. I love being outdoors, especially in the warmer months, and will take any opportunity to spend time outside, on a boat, or in the pool in the summer.
