Specialties

Throughout my career in human services, I have worked nearly a decade just with youth ages 3-21 with mental illness, developmental delays, and behavior support needs. I also have a teenage son with autism and have had to navigate schools and systems in depth. Prior to starting at Progressive Community Services in May 2026, I worked in CST, CLTS, and CCS for two human service agencies, including being on call for CPS, APS, and mental health crisis stabilization. I worked as the Youth Program Manager for Aptiv before owning my own businesses providing services for the population I was knowledgeable in.  For 3 years I owned my own agency in Janesville that provided parent education and support, mental health services, youth after-school and summer camps, and adult day habilitation programs.  My entire career has been dedicated to youth and adults, and their families, living with disabilities. I have served on multiple non-profit boards including President of Wisconsin Family Ties, Village Youth Inc, and Vice President of NAMI Green County.  I was also co-chair for two county mental health committees leading efforts to increase awareness and access to services. I am a lifelong learner and consistently look for opportunities to grow and learn more in this field.
