My specialty includes working with youth and transition aged students that have a variety of disabilities. I have worked in the Madison School district focusing on transition plans for students exiting high school while also assisting teams in finding employment for them to maintain when they exit. All of the students I worked with qualified for Long Term Supports with varying levels of support needs. Prior to that I have experience working as a special education teacher in a Madison elementary school and also worked at a local supported employment agency serving individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. More about me
I grew up in the Madison area and enjoy everything this city has to offer. When I am not working, I love enjoying time with my husband and very energetic dog, Charly. You can usually find us participating in some outdoor activity – sailing, camping, hiking or swimming – depends on the day and whose choice it is. In the winter I find myself doing more indoor activities like cooking, quilting, reading and gaming. I also am a high school swim coach and enjoy the fall and winter seasons with both the girls and boys teams.
