Specialties

(e.g., working with autism, the elderly, employment for people with disabilities or youth in transition, mental health, experience with assisted technology)
Since graduating college, I have been fortunate to work with several non-profit agencies in Dane County, and have supported a variety of individuals and their families. For many years I worked with and supported adults with physical and developmental disabilities through various coordinator roles. I was able to be a vocational coach helping support individuals at their place of employment and also help provide unique community experiences through community partnerships and special events. I have supported adults with disabilities as a residential coordinator, as well. I also have strong experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. For the past four years, I have focused on children, teens and their families as a care coordinator connecting them to mental health providers within the community and providing them with trauma-informed care and crisis support. As a care coordinator I gained experience with complex mental health needs and diagnoses, crisis planning and goal setting, legal/court support, alternative care and the foster system, advocacy and worked closely with team members such as social workers, mental health providers/agencies, and school staff. Working with diverse populations through a DEI lens is also a priority to me. I have had extensive DEI training and continue to focus on this both personally and professionally. I am very strength-based, outgoing, and love supporting others with their own goals and ambitions!
