Specialties
I started working in the human services field in 2006 with over half of those years working in Dane County and the last few years branching out into surrounding counties. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds with both physical and developmental disabilities. I feel that I specifically have a lot of knowledge in supporting those with behavioral and mental health needs. This includes creating individualized support plans to help people be an active member of their communities. Throughout my years in this field I have had experience in school classrooms, as a direct caregiver, as a residential case manager, and now as an IRIS Consultant since 2019. I am very familiar with the many services offered in our program and I am always looking to find new services to set-up in IRIS. I enjoy getting to know people on a personal level and building lasting relationships. These relationships are what keep me going and invested in the great work that we do at PCS. I feel strongly about all individuals having access to their communities and helping to find what makes them feel like they belong. I also have experience with complex medical needs, trauma, autism, assisted technology, and sign language.
