More about me

I’ve been working with people with disabilities since I was certified as a CNA 15 years ago. I worked in nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and medical floors in a hospital. In these settings I worked with people with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and the elderly.

After graduating from college, I worked on a psychiatric unit in a hospital that served individuals with mental illness along with physical and/or developmental disabilities. While working on a psychiatric unit I decided to go to graduate school and obtained my Master’s in Rehabilitation Psychology and became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Since then, I have become a Licensed Professional Counselor. It’s my passion to work with clients and to make sure those I’m working with have the best care they can get. It’s a joy to work with and see progress in people, whether it’s seeing individuals hit new milestones or gaining rapport and trust with clients.

When I’m not working I can be found running and biking the trails around Southern Wisconsin, playing with my adorable cat, Tes, or trying a new curry style recipe.
